Known for her sculptural-yet-simple creations, Sydney-based designer Kylie Hawkes creates clothes for a confident and sophisticated woman. Focusing on ingenuity, quality and fit in her designs, Kylie Hawkes, the label, epitomises casual-but-cool Australian style.

Beginning this eponymous label in 2006 after winning a grant from Australian Business Ltd. Hawkes’ beautifully-fabricated womenswear began as a sell-out destination at Paddington and Kirribilli markets. Her smart, versatile designs and attention to detail have attracted a regular and loyal clientele.

Devotee’s of the label love her use of sumptuous fabrics, feminine detail and flattering silhouettes. Using only the highest quality fabrics and manufacturing, Hawkes is able to excite stockists and customers alike. Boutiques in Sydney and Melbourne now carry her latest collections and by the launch of Summer 2010/11, Hawkes’ collection will be stocked in all major capital cities around Australia.

Kylie is a graduate of Fashion and Textiles at UTS. Constantly inspired by the world around her, Hawkes was previously a finalist in the Lancôme Colour Design Awards and both a winner and runner-up in the Ella Bache styling awards.
